Oh, man... I had to downgrade because I left my beautiful wireless Bose QuietComfort Ultras in a Lyft and wasn't in a financial situation to go so upscale for an immediate replacement. But I loved those. Being wired in is less and less an option these days but I still love my 10 year old Technics.

Awesome! I really appreciate you chiming in.

Excellent, good to know! Thank you!

YES! When I got tinnitus (from going to shows, no doubt). I did research into headphones and the closed ear, big cans seems to actually make my tinnitus better, as I wasn't competing with ambient noise so much, but I do love some good open back headphones!!

Love live music more than anything.

Sweet! Did you port over your Spotify lists and artists, or did you just decide to start life over? (Both have their appeal to me.) And if so, what service did you use?

I mean, I just love to see bands I've already fallen in love with play live, or drop vids, etc. I am ride or die with RateYourMusic as my discovery engine. 100% human curated!! :-)

I mean, I watch/listen to YouTube music all the time, but I hate it.

I think with QoBuzz I might need to find another alternative to podcasts, which is a little bit of a bummer, I don't want to have to pay for separate services on that front... hmmm...

Awesome!

Put this under the wrong comment, that was about the Kpop library.

As far as YouTube's UI... holy shit.... I would rather stab myself in the eye with a pencil than deal with it. I hear you.

Hopefully QoBuz is building it out. I'm sure pulling together contracts like this must be a Herculean task.

I wonder if that's mega-corps making deals with other mega-corps that kick out smaller corps? Am I being too anti-capitalist right now? I sort of view Kpop like I view FIFA. Soccer is amazing and I love it, but FIFA is corrupt as shit. Haha.

All my music discovery I do through RYM and I curate my own playlists. So That works for me. However, even though I don't listen to a lot of Kpop, that's disappointing. Literally the biggest genre in the world, and Qobuz isn't servicing it? That seems weird.

And there's Nina, 100% of streaming revenue goes to artists, and it's a music store, but it just doesn't seam to have all the features I'm looking for in a streamer. Still, interesting place to have a look around, maybe use it to buy stuff? I'm not sure about its library yet.

Cantilever is only in the UK (and for those of us who are international via VPN), but this is more like Mubi for music. Highly human curated, rotating monthly selections. Could be a neat way to find new music that hasn't broken through yet.
