Following closed session, the council resumed open session. Council Member LaTrisha Vetaw (W4) moved to approve a $475,000 settlement. Adopted unanimously.

The council entered closed session to receive a briefing on the litigation matter of Cheryl Frazier v. Minneapolis. This relates to a lawsuit by the family of Leneal Frazier, who was killed by MPD in a vehicle collision.

The Business, Housing, and Zoning Committee forwarded without recommendation an appeal of the Heritage Preservation Commission’s denial of a Certificate of Appropriateness for demolition of the Tyler Street NE John Cook House.
