I think the equation is different if you don’t have the ability to charge at home or work and need to rely on public charging

You might not be, not everyone is, but @jacob.gold is explicitly asking for that and suggesting it as a potential fix for retention lol. I think there could be some interesting ways to find a middle ground between Twitter/Reddit, whatever that looks like. Not saying it needs to replace microblogging

I think that's the point he's making. He's saying a hybrid between a microblogging platform and a forum is something that could help retention and lead to a better platform overall

Do you see them as kind of like separate AppViews? Sectioning off all posts that only belong to that Sub Community/AppView?

Getting back into Pebbles since the revivals has been fun. Definitely a different type of watch than the Apple Watch or the Pixel Watch. It realistically does everything that I need, and the Pebble Time Round is so sleek

Reddit on ATProto is so badly needed. It seems like @frontpage.fyi was going to be it, but AFAICT they’ve been quiet for a while now, so I’m not holding my breath

I like and wear my Pebble Time Round more than my other Pebbles because it’s a better watch. It’s slimmer, and looks nicer. I can see notifications on my wrist if I want to, even if I have to scroll more. I don’t need a computer on my wrist, I just want a watch that’s smart. Watch 1st, Smart 2nd
