I find it frustrating that people of good character drop out of politics when faced with scurrilous, politically-motivated charges because "they would be a distraction for the campaign."
Yes, that's exactly why opponents levied those charges when they did, to distract and cause straw-man outrage.

Easy solution to Budget Impasse issues at every level of government: if City Council (or other Legislative body) fails to pass a budget by deadline, a snap election is held for the seat of every member.

One of my neighbors has been putting up these fish facts posters. All kinds of different fish, marine, freshwater, deep, shallow, all kinds. This is a good one. “Stg this real fish” took me out. Good work, neighbor.
