Few things have left me as baffled as the footage from this preview session. Woof.

Pokémon Pokopia looks absolutely cracked, I'm afraid.

DK Bananza is excellent, but it’s hard to imagine a more annoying sounding game for someone sitting next to you while you play it.

So, a Steam Machine with base PS5(ish) specs. £500? £600?

This is firmly in the “cool, but I have absolutely zero use for it” category.

Launch it with one of the 8 Half Life games you have finished.
Steam Frame, Steam Controller, Steam Machine announcement is expected soon, here's a first look!

5 years of PlayStation 5.

My main launch memories are the extremely scary delivery man who handed me my review console like it was a bomb, and the fact that on launch day, I had 5 PS5s in my house thanks to pre-orders.

I sold them to my friends at cost like a MUG.

Lots of Greggs slander in the VGC Discord tonight. Probably a sign we’ve run our course as a website.

Pokopia isn't a Game Freak game, but considering the way Z-A was spread across the internet for a week before it was out, the prospect of a way to lock that down, e.g., a Game Key Card, is probably something they'll think about for Gen 10.

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

It's the wrong time for it economically, but I'd love a proper plastic instrument revival.

I've been playing a lot of Fortnite Festival and Clone Hero and it's still such a great time.

DJ Hero still the best of all of them.
20 years ago today I was trying to find a dodgy little import game shop near Bournemouth with printed-out directions from Google Maps, so I could spend half my meagre pay from my first job on a plastic guitar. Here's Chris Lord on one of the all-time great games:
