November 24 data zegt in totaal 18.5 GW omvormervermogen eind november 24, tov 17.8 GW eind juni.
Mogelijk moet je nog wat corrigeren omdat CERES niet compleet is, maar als je dezelfde verhouding aanhoudt tov heb je een prima proxy.

To me, the six consecutive days in January where RES only supplied 20-30% of the total load, do qualify as a Dunkelflaute.
Perhaps a relatively light one as there was still some generation from RES, but definitely a challenging period from power system resource adequacy perspective!

To me, the six consecutive days in January where RES only supplied 20-30% of the total load, do qualify as a Dunkelflaute.

But periods like those in January with 6 consecutive days where RES only supplied 20-30% of the electricity demand, will be very challenging for the future power system, and we will need firm capacity to supply demand in such periods.

To me, this explanation of Nasdaq reads as EPADs are LTRs.
Although nog in the form of FTR options, where the holder gets only positive remuneration if price spread is positive in one direction, but in the form of FTR obligations where the remuneration can be both positive and negative.
