There is something to be said about hate influencing looks. Andrew Pierce springs to mind. But I did wonder if he's gone for botox.

The unfortunate thing is that at least two member states, if the current leaders stay in power, will veto us joining again. Certain players in the Brexit campaign did so in order to get us on the outside. And it's reasonably straightforward to keep us out.

And possibly intentional that there is no mention that the enquiry started in 2023. So not by the Labour government of course. Taxpayer alliance is a nice little earner for a few people, isn't it.....

This should at least mean that certain media outlets reflect on how they handled this issue and whether it was correct. Not holding my breath though.

If she had stopped after nationalising utilities, she'd have been on safer ground. Even a more German style arrangement for industrial relations is fine. But no, she had loooooads more to say. 21st century rerun of the Russian revolution in the UK anyone?

Zarah Sultana learned the wrong lessons, if she ever studied the Russian revolution at school. There are issues with the capitalist system that need to be addressed. But her suggestion is daft and dangerous.

The revamped format for the whole week is pretty dire tbh. There are a number of people on Sky News that have shown they are capable of better, but seem to have given up now.

This type of behaviour risks tarnishing the journalistic profession across the board. It has always had bad apples like many professions, but there have been/are still some great journalists. But so many seem to be piling on/contributing to this non story around the budget. Its crazy and shabby.
