I was there in 1966! Probably was pretty new? One of my teachers had these buttons with this weird pattern, and I found out it was a peace sign. He also taught us about the amazing Native American cultures in California. Great teacher.

I think you are overthinking it. From the list, it is clear they are using immigration as their grand theory of problems and solutions— throwing them out We need a grand theory to counter their grand theory

First off, any future Dem president better be talking to the press *every day* or they should be impeached. 2nd, the jobs bill depended on subsidies/incentives, and didn't affect enough people. A Federal plan would guarantee jobs, in specific places, not depend on the 'magic of the market'

This is why the left needs an alternative explanation. Much could be ascribed to 'corporations', which the Democratic Party would not like. The 'jobs' one is the most important -- the left needs to offer an alternative way to tighten the job market, eg., GreenNewDealPlan.com
