I really hope Golriz gets left alone in 2026.

She suffered more than enough.

#nzpol
So the supermarkets have breached Golriz’s privacy and were called out by the Privacy Commissioner.

1) Where’s the public apology and cost of damages to Golriz
2) When are these weird men going to stop obsessing over her and other women of colour in politics?

#nzpol Just catching up with the HYEFU data today - but the data looks grim pretty much across the board. One data point stood out to me - the economy will be cumulatively $28.3bn smaller at the next election than predicted by Treasury at the last election.

What will the ministry's maori name be and can we ever get Christopher Luxon to say it? #nzpol He doesn't seem to like using them.

Researchers identified nitrate-rich cow urine as a primary cause of contaminated groundwater.

A 2021 study found up to 100 cases of bowel cancer and 40 deaths might be caused by nitrate-contaminated drinking water each year - 800,000 New Zealanders exposed to potentially hazardous levels.

What's really going on with Canterbury's water
Luis Arevalo fears his grandson will never be able to drink water straight from the tap because of the nitrate in the local water supply.

Australian here 👋

Stop saying the tragedy in Sydney demonstrates that strict gun laws don’t work.

There were ZERO mass shootings in Australia in the two decades after strict gun laws were passed in 1996.

We have so much we need to do, but strict gun laws remain a critical part of the solution.

Chris Bishop: "The RMA has been a disaster for the last 30 years..." Chris it was your team that passed it! Go talk to Simon Upton. It was amended in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005... And in 30 years time your replacement will be called a disaster too. #nzpol

I was just thinking about this. I’m pretty sure that shorter working weeks, for example, have been found to increase productivity rather than harm it.
#nzpol
Would be keen to see some evidence showing that working more hours means higher productivity. From what I can tell, NZers already work long hours, more than in Ireland and Norway.

Mouldy School lunches aren't a David Seymour issue. PM Chris Luxon has stressed how he sets clear expectations. Well? Now what? Either Compass and Seymour failed to live up to his expectations and should be replaced or it's his failing for not setting expectations properly and he should go. #nzpol

The left: let people have nice things. Everyone deserves nice things.
The center: this is why we can't have nice things.
The right: you can't just give people nice things! Then they'd be the same as us. They wouldn't know what to do with things if they got them anyways.
