I was talking to my parents the other night about where my worldview came from. I put it down to their influence when I was growing up, but my mother said it was more to do with all the German philosophy I read as a teen.

Classic question, isn’t it? Nietzsche versus nurture.

Busy day today including evening, but managed to sneak in another 280 words to start another Monday-Friday #NaNoWriMo #NovelNovember writing streak (also managed to find a sliver of time over the weekend so 440 words since Friday). How are others finding the last stretch? #WritingCommunity

Just 220 words to end the week. A third Monday to Friday streak complete, with 2,000 more words.
It may not seem much but I started November with 13,000 words that I’d taken over a year to write. My total is now over 18,000; for me a giant increase.

Only 221 words for #NaNoWriMo #NovelNovember today. Well short of the official 1,667 words a day target. A failure. But thanks to failing continually this month, I have over 2,500 more words, which is more than I’ve written in the rest of the year. I’ll take that type of failure. #WritingCommunity

I’ve made it - Monday to Friday writing each day. Today’s total was 775 words, meaning over 2,000 over the week. It’s well short of the ‘official’ target (11,670 words) but I‘ve written as much as I had in the previous 6 months. How’s #NaNoWriMo #NovelNovember working for you?

Really good thread about how city rural divide and symbolism. But the Biblical picture is a bit more complex than presented… 1/4

The idea that the city is evil and corrupt, and the countryside innocent and pure, goes back a long way: to Theocritus in Alexandria, and to the Old Testament. 🧵

Today I have written 396 words for #NaNoWriMo #NovelNovember - bringing my total to 680 for the month. Not many, but also not none. And I now have a writing streak (2 days - woohoo).
