Black Archives, Strangers in Space, Busting Balls mainly. Former Westeros charcoal. Too old, too Welsh, too bad.
Old men do love shouting at clouds.

I mean, the only problem in the internet era for me is so much great music being accessible, but not enough time.

Yeah - that Natasha Lyonne is essentially reduced to a cameo is weird. I suspect her storyline was largely excised, thereby making the pacing feel slightly off.

Essentially a music challenge where we listed our fifty favourite songs of the decade so far. There was an option for a second tier of fifty ‘honourable mentions’ which didn’t quite make the list which I decided to do.

We’re doing one for the 00s and 10s soon too.

I’ve reached my jelcore phase. It’s gloriously preposterous.

In short but by no means comprehensive order:

the wobbly synth, the laser noises under the first chorus, Georgia Ellery sweetly singing some filthy lyrics, the meta playfulness of the Madonna lyrics, what Smash Hits would call a swoonsome outro.

Yes, Georgia, I believe in dreams. I just heard one.

Free for All, with a bunch of links to other pieces that have snuck outside the paywall in honour of the day. It's the start of the 1990 BSB Doctor Who repeat weekend, over at Psychic Paper.

Last of my repeat artists, and last US artist on the list.

I had that for a fair while, and know it’s hell to go through. But however your confidence is, you’re still a hell of a writer, and will be when your confidence returns.
