I really enjoyed this book, and the emotional journey the main character went through. I have a friend facing trauma right now, and her journey to hope has helped me stay hopeful for them. I wish I could be as relentlessly positive as you!

It’s a place where they’re attempting to generate every possible piece of writing through random probability, kind of like the infinite number of monkeys producing Shakespeare. I find it fascinating that I can find my hand written journal entries in the noise.

What are your thoughts on the Library of Babel project? Not AI, but runs into more complex copyright issues. I find it fascinating.

Just things floating around your tower, your tower and upgrades shoot them for points. It’s really meditative for me. It’s almost a tapping game, but there’s a strategy to the way you spend your points. One of the best free games I’ve found. 8.5/10 one or two games and I’m ready for sleep.

The Tower. Really mellow, free, and you make noticeable progress as you play. I play for half an hour or so before bed.

Joderosky’s Dune. It’s the most amazing movie that was never made. Salvador Dali was going to play the emperor, HR Giger was doing the art. The making of the movie changed the industry, and this documentary is insane.

The time where political prices mattered seems to have passed. I’m not sure we’re going to have a real election in 2026, and they’re already acting like a dictatorship. Courts aren’t stopping them, congress is subservient, and there are no checks and balances left. Democracy seems dead.
