Bucks shot 35-for-51 (69%) on 2-pointers & 20-for-34 (59%) on 3-pointers (including 10-for-10 from the corners) vs. the Hornets last night.

Their effective FG% of 76.5% was the 13th highest for any game in NBA history (highest in NBA Cup history).

Brandon Williams got subbed out after trying to throw a fast-break lob to Lively off the glass, even though he has the only coach who can't complain about such audacity.
November 15, 2025 at 3:57 AM
Nice effort by the Hornets, but the Bucks simply can't be beat in NBA Cup pool play. Now 10-0 all time.

Reasons to switch from the default (home team) stream on League Pass...

1. Hornets are playing a close game on the road.
November 15, 2025 at 3:36 AM
My assumption is that, if/when the Pistons are fully healthy, Duncan Robinson is a starter/closer. Having a terrific season.
November 15, 2025 at 2:43 AM
Couple of mebounds in there, which means he owes Angel Reese $4.26.
Less than three minutes into the game, Mitchell Robinson has four offensive rebounds. This is getting preposterous.

Sometimes you get a 70-38 1st half in a rest-advantage game.

Oh wait... the Thunder are the team that played last night.
November 13, 2025 at 3:55 AM
This was Bradley Beal's last play. Somewhat of an awkward landing.

He didn't ask out of the game, but they did sub him out when the Clips committed a foul on the ensuing possession, & he seemed to walk back toward the locker room.

Teams with winning records...

Eastern Conference: 9
Western Conference: 7

Top of the East aided by the bottom of the East: 3 teams at 1-10.

West still has a winning record (27-20) in games vs. the East.

Games this season in which they've allowed more than 120 points per 100 possessions...

Nets: 10
Pistons, Rockets & Thunder: 0

Derrick White probably leads the league in blind-side steal attempts.
November 12, 2025 at 3:26 AM
Is Noah Clowney a decent player now?

Feels like the size/skills have always been there, but he's always played in second gear. Needed to have more motor.

Paolo Banchero owes Desmond Bane dinner.

We need an All-Star horse competition featuring Luka.

Sixers gotta communicate better, no? If Grimes is coming with the double-team from one side, Oubre has got to shift his body & force him that way.
Cade Cunningham is pretty good at this. Sees the double coming, goes left to get away from it and knocks down this shot.

Most assists from any player to a single teammate, through Friday...

1. Cunningham -> Duren: 25
2. Giddey -> Vučević: 24
3. George -> Markkanen: 23
4. Jokić -> Gordon: 21
5. Jokić -> Braun: 20
5. Maxey -> Oubre: 20

Murray -> Jokić (19) & Jokić -> Murray (18) not far behind.

Going back to March & including Games 2-5 of the conf. semis, the Warriors have lost their last 8 games without Stephen Curry.

That streak will be challenged if he remains out vs. Indiana on Sunday.

(Nuggets, Warriors & Pacers are playing a Friday-Saturday-Sunday round-robin.)

If you subtracted 2nd-chance points & just calculated *initial* offensive efficiency...

1. Milwaukee: 106.7 pp100p
10. Houston: 102.1

Counting 2nd-chance points -> overall offensive efficiency...

1. Houston: 122.4 pp100p
9. Milwaukee: 117.2 pp100p
