I just attended a philosophical guest lecture on enactivism in Bergen. One of the organizers (herself a philosopher) ended the session with singing a song from Pocahontas! It was both eccentric and wonderful at the same time. It was very well received.

I cannot get over the "continental" writing style some philosophers use. It's like reading one of those old-time ransom letters - just a series of newspaper cutouts (quote after quote) glued onto a page. Why can't they simply put their own points in their own words?

I was just checking out whether Nina Kraviz had changed her position on the war and Putin's regime, and she has issued nothing but bland "against violence" and "for peace" statements. The latter is ominous since it often signals pro-occupation sentiments. My guess is that she is pro-war.

I think I might have seen Dimitri Hegemann on two occasions. An elderly gentleman in ordinary summer clothes checking out a floor at Wilde Möhre this year, and being shown reverence in the queue at Polygon some time ago. The grand gardener of Berlin club culture making sure that all is well.

I had a ticket to Vëryl festival this summer which was cancelled, or rather, the organizers just disappeared. Sent a refund request to ticket.io, who charged almost 20 percent of the ticket as a service fee. They said that I need to contact the organizer, which they know does not respond.

I thought that they used a sample from Big Mama Thornton in this Doja Cat track for the movie Elvis in 2022, but it turns out that it was Shonka Dukureh. Still very good, though.

My interpretation of the "67" slang phenomenon is that culture has become supersaturated with meaning, so that people delight in the opportunity to spontaneously crystallize a kind of negative space to a context. Emptiness is form.
