Finally cracking on with #DoctorWho. The 2023 series (not happy they are differentiating) could have used practical effects instead of CGI for the gremlins. It does stand out from the more stoic previous series, but has a good vibe.

Ooof! 2026 has hammered my wallet already. The Offspring, Anthrax, Amyl & the Sniffers, BEAT (the King Crimson supergroup), Sarah Brightman too... Deep Purple definitely on tour in October too.

Is it 27 years? I was fortunate enough to be given access to the Franciscan Well Brewery the week prior to them opening. Their sale to Coors seemed a good move when it saw their stock shipped all across Europe...but it stopped as quickly as it started. All changed, changed utterly...

Local holiday tomorrow but am working... have pilfered much equipment from the office in an effort to set up a home office that's basically dock and go instead of a cable party each and every time. Just hoping I remembered a mouse because that'll be awkward otherwise.

I was in Warsaw for independence day some years back. 2017 I'm sure. The march that took place in the city that day had a large % of the young population heading to the suburbs to get themselves out of harms way. I can only imagine how scary it was today. Tusk has not had the impact expected.

I feel like if Pennywise had gone with "rent is free down here" he'd have had more favourable traction with society as a whole. As it is, getting eaten by a demon clown is probably an upgrade for a sizeable portion of America.

It's absolutely not superhero fatigue, it's time crunch. If each franchise is dropping 2-3 series per year, plus other shows releasing their usual fare, then I lack the necessary time to watch it all.
If I win the lottery and retire by 50 I will be all caught up by 51.

Bowen Yang as Dobby was absolutely savage. Show felt like they're trying to spread the workload more

Anecdotal evidence to suggest that the cessation of mail to the US is having a knock on effect on international mail in my area... post to Germany, France, the UK etc is absolutely looking like an additional 10 days on top of normal times. Guessing they're waiting for a critical load before sending?
