England. Do you visit Yosemite valley? There's a small glacial valley in N. Wales called Cwm Idwal & it's one the nicest places I've ever been. I can only imagine Yosemite Valley is mind blowingly beautiful. I saw a video called free solo of rock climber Alex Honnold do El Capitan without ropes.

I do know there was a land bridge connecting Sri Lanka & India, that's mentioned in the Ramayana. Adams Bridge it's known as nowadays. One Theosophy member I do admire was Annie Besant. Suffragette, socialist, fought for women's votes, equal pay, work conditions, birth control, women's freemasonry.

Nice I wouldn't mind checking out both of those places. I was reading an article about the Tamil people associating Lemuria with lost land mentioned in some of their ancient texts. So although modern science doesn't support it any longer, due to continental drift it still lives on amongst many.

I've found myself listening to him more recently. I got into for a while too. Bought the secret doctrine. (What a voluminous test that is) came nowhere near to finishing it or comprehending it though ha. I did attend an interesting talk on Gnosticism at the Blavatsky lodge yrs back.

You know, I was racking my brain the other day of how I came to discover Ramana Maharshi & I came to the conclusion it was through Theosophy. I've been practicing self enquiry now for around 13yrs now probably longer. Thankful to it for that. I read about the Krishnamurti fiasco yes..

I reckon you're right, cheers. Seeing darker and lighter versions of it in the book now.

Cor, tell me about it. I'm checking various sites, my book and still finding myself stumped. Thanks, will have a go on this one too.

Ah blushing bracket. I did ponder over that also. Thanks.

Also a more blackened one. Reading that shaggy bracket persists in blackened state outside of summer but also looking at inonotus obliquus. Be cool if it was the latter due to it's antiviral potential.

I did have another I did manage to catch the underside of. What do you guys reckon on that? Also lost on this.
November 21, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Haha will do. He was a loner though this one. I should leave them if that's the case you think? Or still go gung-ho?
November 21, 2025 at 11:42 PM
I'm starting to realise that now. As for the stipe there wasn't much of one which is why I was thinking "well maybe it is the scaly earthball." I should start getting a bit more brutal and cutting them to check and photograph the undersides.
