Calm down everybody. The @mets.com had Pete Alonso at first and signed Juan Soto last year. Then they won 6 fewer games than the @redsox.com last year. A roster is not built in a weekend. The Sox are still well-positioned to go into 2026 with one of the best rosters in baseball.

A former State House reporter myself, I don't understand why any reporter would take such abuse. The standard response should: "You're response Mr. President is a shamefully insulting (and obvious) deflection in response to a legitimate question. Please just answer the question."
The other reporters in the White House press corps are apparently waiting until the president actually takes a swing at one of their female colleagues before they say anything

We will need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission after we defeat Trumpism.

Serious question: Which morally repugnant organization has knowingly done more harm, META or Phillip Morris?
Imagine knowing your platform was a playground for predators, fueling teen depression, eating disorders, and suicide and deciding the best course of action was… absolutely nothing. Meta didn’t just “miss” anything.
