No evidence taking #paracetamol in pregnancy raises risk of autism, ADHD, developmental issues

Ian Douglas says review "well-conducted" as excludes studies which don't take into account key differences between mothers who use or don't use paracetamol during #pregnancy

BREAKING : Trump threatens to break with the Pope and establish the Church of America as the official religion of the USA.
It’s come to this: “Catholic members of the US armed forces could in good conscience consider disobeying orders to attack Greenland if such orders were issued, according to Archbishop Timothy Broglio, the bishop responsible for the pastoral care of US military personnel.”
Military archbishop: Troops could refuse orders on Greenland
Speaking to Britain's Sunday program on BBC, Archbishop Timothy Broglio reiterated that conscience could permit refusal of an unjust military order.

"I have a possibly anachronistic view that citizens should be allowed to protest without running the risk of being shot to death by masked immigration agents and then blamed for their own murder by the government. So no, I’m much safer here."

People are replying to this as if I was serious and I can't tell whether they are serious or whether I just think they are serious and they are thinking, "this dude thinks I'm serious!"
Rewriting my will and since I have no dependents, I thought I would do what other people do these days and email random individuals asking them if they would be willing to receive $1,000,000 to go towards a good cause.

Not one of them replied. Just rude.

#Scabies cases in UK are growing

@drmichaelmarks.bsky.social tells @theguardian.com while reasons for rise are unclear “delays in people being able to access care, and inadequate tracing and treatment of their contacts” may be making outbreaks worse.

These microscopic mites, which burrow under your skin and cause ferocious itching, are incredibly hard to get rid of – and cases in the UK have soared. What is causing the outbreak, and is there anyth...

Why doesn’t Greenland hold a plebiscite on whether citizens of the territory wish to become part of the United States? Wouldn’t that put an end to this nonsense.

From the same paper. These people talk a big game about nationalism and patriotism, but they are actually a fascist international, a movement quite unconcerned with sovereignty as a principle, entirely concerned to promote viscous authoritarian imperialism.

Since it was the Danes who first “discovered” America, why couldn’t Denmark sell America to Greenland, uniting the two countries into one, so meeting Trump’s aim, with its administrative capital in Nuuk? It’s a win-win!

Miscalculated? Can you describe anything this US administration does as “calculated” in any sense of the word? Unless it's calculated purely to appear vicious and capricious. Or to cause maximum disruption both at home and abroad.
Keir Starmer often takes 2-3 days to issue very mild criticism of US actions. This is both direct and issued fast.

I think there is a serious risk that the US miscalculated quite what a big deal the Greenland thing is to Europe (and in Europe).
NEW - Starmer says US "completely wrong" in threatening tariffs over Greenland

I'm experiencing Firefox going downhill.

On my personal MacBook it keeps freezing and I have to shut it down, losing all my tabs, and reopen.

And on my Work PC I suddenly started getting pop-up ("push"?) notifications which are proving difficult to stop.
