Made it. An iconic image on a beautiful day in Wellington.

Have even completed some hand written notes for my presentation tonight. Could do with some painkillers and more caffeine now

I did add a photo... but in terms of scale - it's about letterbox size. It has a number of items in there (four or five) and one of them is unfortunately leaking. It is a brown powder.... I've licked it in the name of science, and I think it is cocoa (tbf it smelt like cocoa). It's come from WLG

Just checked the tracking details... said parcel was delivered at 8.12am. Nothing on doorstep, so checked letterbox.....

Nah... it's only made the trip from Kelburn to Wiri... so further away than it started... let's just say I won't be holding my breath... or sitting by the front door waiting!

Lots of things on my 'to do' list this weekend. Most not achieved (again. Too hot). But got onto the most important item 🌟

Another WFH day... with two feline colleagues. Black cat Lexie has displaced Poppy the dog, who has had to find another seat, not in the morning sunshine

I raised muscovy ducklings in my lounge and then in my garden

A different location (in sunny end of house) but same loyal cat companion. I will admit, Maisie is my favourite colleague.

I'll also admit, I mostly work from home.

And another two hours have passed.... I'm willing to admit my human colleagues are more productive than this

Three hours later... status unchanged

My colleagues while working from home. I will make no comments regarding how they compare to my human colleagues.

Taking time to stop and enjoy the little beautiful things in nature 🌼🪴

Due to an 'excessive leave balance' I am taking Fridays off for the rest of the year. Decided to take my first trip of the season to our boatshed.

There are worse places to be at 2pm on a warm Friday

I live with two cats a dog and a rabbit. The cats are my favourites (found abandoned on the side of a country road aged five weeks), but the dog is very cute. The rabbit is a bit evil. Photo of a happy Maisie and my camera-averse teen

My feed this morning is so depressing this morning - all our useless government doing dumb stuff, racism, climate change and Trump.

So here is my happy fat cat Maisie, helping me weed the garden.

At the annual Tourism Summit Aotearoa ... very different from the Adaptation Futures conference.

Struggling with the dissonance... but nice to catch up with some really good people.

There's a tree down on Ellesmere Rd already

Not looking great for National (and yes, know this isn't scientific, but these Stuff polls are often pretty Right-leaning
