Mega Clefable is said to be able to use the power of moonlight to control gravity within a radius of 32 feet around it.

In this special illustration rare card, Mega Clefable flies through the moonlit skies of Lumiose city with a parade of Cleffa, Clefairy and Clefable.

Fun fact! I actually drew these two once before, in 2014! This was created when Procreate had just released, and before the Apple Pencil was a thing. Drawn with my own stubby fingers!

It’s nice to stop and recognise my growth in the last 10 years.

This is card is based on a Doubles team I created back in X&Y in 2013!

After setting up Rain Dance, Ludicolo would speed up with Swift Swim, while Heliolisk would passively heal with Dry Skin. The rain gave Heliolisk 100% accurate Thunder hits, while Ludicolo’s Surf would sweep and heal further!

One more card created on the road to making this dream a reality. I’ll keep drawing them until it happens!

I’m a huge fan of the Tag Team cards from the Sun & Moon era, and picked up a nice little collection on my last trip to Japan.

I really wanted to give it a go!

Didn’t realise until near the end of my Z-A play-through that my final team included a pairing from one of my all time favourite cards!

This is what happens when you start encouraging people to have Pokémon battles on the rooftops.

This could have been prevented. A dark day for Lumiose City.

Thought I was hot shit because I jumped back into my 2017 Hollow Knight save and beat Grimm after a couple tries no warm up

then he hold me that was just a practice and to go away and do some stuff and come back and fight him even harder

Thanks for your time and I hope you had fun opening this pack of cards! ✨

Last but not least, the big hit of the pack, Zygarde EX!

I wanted to capture a kind of Princess Mononoke vibe here, like catching a glimpse of the Spirit of the Forest. If you look carefully, the silhouette of the light and reflection make a big ‘Z’!

I wanted to try creating art for an illustration rare, so I picked a basic Pokémon, Sandshrew, and depicted a scene described in one of its Pokédex entries.

It seems that as the set rarity of a Pokémon card increases, the detail of the illustration does too!

For this illustration I wanted to depict Feraligatr swimming gracefully through a marsh to challenge its ferocious reputation.

Actually, this was my submission for the Official Pokémon Illustration Contest 2024! I didn’t get through, but one of the final winners was similar!

Next up, Dottler!

Dottler is a classic mid-stage Bug Pokemon with a psychic twist. It’s shell reminds me of the big jungle gym cages that kids would climb on in play parks.

I wanted to show it perched within the neon lights of a cityscape.

One day I hope I'll be able to contribute art for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

So, for a bit of fund I decided to illustrate my very own pack of cards!

For this uncommon-rarity card, I wanted to illustrate Sudowoodo in the cool breeze of a summer day.

"BUG+" was my experimental first foray into comic book making! It's an expansion of an short comic I created during a drawing challenge back in 2020.

Follow two resilient bug robots as they navigate the gargantuan dangers of an apocalyptic world. Will they find home?

“POCA! Vol.01 - Glasgow” is my love letter to the Game Boy Camera and all of the digital friends you made playing games as a kid.

Do they still remember you?

It's been 10 years since Mr.Iwata's passing.

Here's a short bit I wrote speaking about my art contribution to "The Impact of Iwata" by @lucasmthomas.bsky.social and some memories of that day.

Late for #portfolioday, but I have something to share!

In May I was delighted to be accepted into @super-meteor.bsky.social 's "My Famicase Exhibition 2025"!

If you have 10 minutes, I've created a page on my site talking about my experience and everything I put into it.

Excited to be in Japan again so soon after last summer - and for the first time in Spring! The temperature is so pleasant.

Every time I come back I notice new things - like this giant lad!
