Broadcaster for the Hudson Valley Renegades, the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, and college hoops broadcaster.
Barbaric behavior from those who voted yea. This is not what happens in a country that respects individual rights.
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

James Nelson has one of the best seasons in Atlantic League history in 2025.

He hit .315/.395/.575 with 34 homers and 53 steals in 124 games.

In the first 26 seasons of the Atlantic League, no hitter had ever had a 30-30 season

Incredibly disappointed the both New York senators voted to strip a group of their fundamental human right to exist as a member of society.
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Can confirm the Red Sox have named Ben Buck director of pitching.

Had reported last week Buck was a finalist for the job. Buck was hired last year from the Yankees and has been a key piece of the Red Sox pitching development infrastructure

Fun fact: Vince Guaraldi's soundtrack for this was put on a Jazz record label called Fantasy, and was the highest-selling album the label put out until a few years later when the label signed Creedence Clearwater Revival and became more of a rock label.
60 years ago today, A Charlie Brown Christmas aired on CBS.

Here is the original promo as it aired in 1965.

Really enjoying watching and listening to Adam Giardino calling Villanova-Georgetown women’s hoops on Peacock tonight. He’s been a mentor and friend since I was in college, and I absolutely am not where I am without him in so many ways. Talented broadcaster and an even better person.

I successfully filed a FOIA request while doing Secondary Lead (actually was denied and filed a successful appeal). I'm not sure how this request would be successful.

Ridiculous. How are they supposed to play baseball when the players can't even fit in the building?

Bob Chesney going from Holy Cross in the Patriot League to UCLA in the Big Ten in three years is a crazy rise. Love that he’s a D3 guy, too
UCLA is expected to hire JMU coach Bob Chesney, source confirms to NBC Sports. Been trending this way for awhile, and the expectation is that Chesney would coach JMU if the Dukes make the CFP.

Decided to be a good™️ broadcaster and listen back to my first few basketball broadcasts of the year and cut a short reel to send out for feedback.

Unless you're a broadcaster it is hard to explain just how uncomfortable this process is. Also if any broadcasters on here want to trade tape...DM me

Tip for young basketball broadcasters: if you have ESPN+, watch Princeton and listen to Derek Jones and Noah Savage and take notes. They are always such an enjoyable watch. Knowledgeable, well-prepared, and entertaining.
