News: A bill to remove cost-sharing for mammograms for all people over 40 as well as other supplemental breast cancer screenings is on its way to Gov. Josh Shapiro's desk after passing the state House 196-7. It builds on a 2023 law that was the first signed by Shapiro in office.

Comparing al Jazeera and Nick Fuentes is certainly....a choice
This is the lady who wrote Michelle Obama's "When they go low, we go high" speech
I'm struck by this clip of former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz saying Holocaust education has backfired in part because people Palestinians as victims: "They think the lesson of the Holocaust is…you fight the big powerful people hurting the weak people."

This is good. Stop the Burn.

“Seeing it really put it into perspective for me,” Gauthier said Thursday, before the tour. “It’s about the incinerator, but it’s also about the injustice of all of these other cumulative impacts that no community should have to put up with.”

We Just voted in PA. Our precinct (Swarthmore North) was at approximately 55% turnout. That is very good especially for an off year election.

People who rail against taxes also usually love cops and the military. How, exactly, do they think these things are funded?

What's more, even if you don't care about promoting Americans' food security, SNAP has an excellent return on investment:

In a weak economy, every $1 in additional spending on SNAP benefits generates $1.54 in economic activity as recipients purchase from local grocers. www.cbpp.org/blog/snap-fo...
