I don't understand carrot vision on so many conceptual levels and I feel like they're just fundamentally misunderstanding muppet vision

ECTO COASTER IS HAPPENING
Well, that’s interesting! Walls are up in New York around Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit’s “Treble Clef” element. #UniversalOrlando

ECTO COASTER IS HAPPENING
GEO-82 is a great name and I'm tired of pretending to be indifferent about this. Not only does this open doors for some potential Buckminster Fuller representation, but it evokes the same vibe to me as SMRT-1. Yeah, EPCOT doesn't need another bar, but I'm definitely more enticed here than in WS.

A remarkable knock-on effect: part of the reason for the elimination of the water features is because Innoventions destroyed guest flow through Communicore.
The long breezeways were mostly blocked off, so they had to replace water with hot pavement instead.
Luckily Disney would never do that again

Before and After of the EPCOT Entrance / Spine changes in the 1990s.
IIRC some of the changes were from 1994, and the rest was in prep for the Millennium Celebration.
I miss those ponds. Yet another loss of water.

While I still think tearing out the river is a bad idea- this project isn't theoretically terrible if it actually commits to its (supposedly) lofty objective. The pastiche of the American Western is fun, but the natural beauty of the world is a much more compelling contemporary myth.
Since its opening on October 1, 1971, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World has served as a richly layered canvas for American storytelling, carefully designed to reflect the ideals, history, and imagination that shape our nation’s complex identity.
