Just watched an ad by Canada's law societies that basically boiled down to "laws, they're good and Canadian" and that's what it means to live in 2025 I guess. "Adhering to the Rule of Law" as a differentiator.

Bumping in case people want to join in and to correct the record, it was seven years ago. My brain thinks it's 2026 already and I mathed wrong.
I lost my dad to cancer eight years ago today. Dad was big on positivity so if you're up for it, I'd love if you could drop a great memory of your dad in the replies. And if you don't have a great relationship with your dad, drop a great memory of someone that meant a lot to you.
