Now the narrative has completely shifted away from the GOP. Doesn't matter that it's only 8, their capitulation is a stain on the entire party. The focus from now will be on the Dems' fecklessness and "Dems in Disarray". They lost leverage, and gave up whatever political and PR advantage they had.

We're going to have to reckon with the fact that a sizable portion of the American population is made up of bad people. We need to start calling out the bad people who elect bad politicians and stop treating voters as sacrosanct that are somehow beyond reproach.

At some point there has to be a reckoning within the Democratic Party that neoliberalism has been an abject failure. We cannot move forward until they have that realization.
