I'm not sure any of that article is actually satire

We are in an age when reality is absurd enough that a satirical paper need not make anything up

Bless those @urbantoronto.bsky.social nerds!

Disagree. It's more special to have it compressed. And if it were longer, I would much rather it extended into January, which in Toronto is truly much more in need of lights and cheer than December.

Nice to see some silver lining in an otherwise terrible bill!

White "Bologna", no lines.

The white lines and the orange text draw your eyes elsewhere, so Bologna isn't the first place your eyes go except in that one.

I meant to add a bit more to this! @langealexandra.bsky.social's book looks at the history of American malls, postwar to present, through the lens of culture, gender, race, city building, and architecture. It's beautifully written, multi-layered, and insightful to understand why we gather in places.

This was an excellent article and 100% deserves to be widely read. Thank you for resharing.

I wish they renamed it Sankofa Station. The name has a powerful meaning and story and I think the public needs it reinforced more to remember it.

It's almost time for gingerbread architecture! Let that fill your heart instead. Look at this lovely synagogue!

Why stop at London? We could also supercharge Paris! Confusion forever.
