Also, I watched my mom grieve my dad after a left-field suicide. The most broken-hearted I may have seen her is when the first patient she liked died on her when she was a tech.

I hadn’t seen the look on her face again until that death scene on this week’s Pitt.

Noah Wyle directed his ass off.

I’m pretty even handed and skeptical about most things. Healthcare workers ain’t one of them.

The shithead hospital administrator on The Pitt is such a ridiculous caricature. It’s also an emotional truth, and we should pay the nurses what they’re damn well owed.

Grief is deeply weird. My mom would be so mad at the world right now, but I also wish she was around so we could talk about an HBO Max show with a charge nurse that reminds me so much of her it hurts.

(She would probably hate this character and resent the comparison. That’s the funny part.)

Legitimately might have been afraid they could have been outmedia’d and therefore turned revenue into nothing. Will Lewis is the LeBron of being terrible at his job.

This child had a blood grudge against the Michigan Wolverines for beating Alabama in a Rose Bowl—until I told her Darth Vader voices the pregame video on the tron.

So proud.

I let the Knicks into my life and I’m already like this.

The Wiz did not make sense as assembled, with or without Trae Young (booooo). With AD they... kinda have some pieces? Maybe an offensive identity?

I just assume this is a pit stop for a former superstar who likes DC's clubs, but that it actually looks like a neat personnel move is.. huh.
