Travis, a private detective hired to find a kidnapped girl is roaming the streets at night with his red hair, white shirt and jeans and shoulder gun holster, doing a squat and charging up his electric powers to land a devastating blow to crime. One of the bosses in this decrepit neighborhood is Generale, a buff dude with a blue beret, eyepatch and moustache, small black shirt and red pants. I had to zoom in a bit even though the gun in his hand is huge, it just looks like a gray cylinder so I don't know if it's a pipe, a cigar or a gun (it's a gun). Another boss, Kobuchi, a muscley weirdo with a receding hairline, a devilish grin and a face texture that's a bit too stretched wide so it makes him look like a humanoid monster with a mask with a man's face printed on it. He wields Wolverine-like claw blades on his right arm that also extends pretty far to deal a little bit of tickle damage. A closer back shot of Travis on a more Japanese looking street with a few thugs running at him. By the way, none of these screenshots of this game show the actual camera perspective which is a more classic sidescrolling brawler, so it's kinda nice seeing this game with it's sometimes impressive graphics being seen from a different perspective, almost like a more modern third person shooter.

So, out of curiosity, I went back and looked at the big "requested characters by region" thing they did for Strive about two years ago. And they've kinda just been working through list, roughly in order. Which means the likely next characters, after Robo Ky and Jam, are Order Sol and Raven.

The Fortress of Necros is a 2DFM game based on a line of 1980's Keshi figures, which in turn were inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, and other high-fantasy character archetypes

Gameplay feels very similar to Asura Buster, featuring an ABC layout, and a simple, straightforward magic-series combo-system

Tech Romancer is a NAOMI/DC 3D Fighting-Game by Capcom about Giant Mechs!

Gameplay is kind of basic, with only 2 Attack-Buttons, and limited movesets - though the game did feature NetPlay in Japan, and VMU minigames.

The presentation is fantastic, wearing it's 70's anime influence on its sleeve!
