I really miss the faux wood grain effect on consumer electronics of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Got my Atari 2600+ complete with the wood effect, it’s quite a masterpiece. Pastel colours Of the 1980s are also hot.

The Marshall plan for Europe after WW2 wasn’t charity, it massively grew the US economy as well as helping countries get back on their feet. Every penny was paid back. Hardly a reverse empire.

Not surprised. I have to admit that far right media such as GB news doesn’t exactly excite me. Much rather watch a BBC documentary made for grown ups about the issues of the day.

The Swiss tariffs were Quite right and proper at 39%. The country profits from the world but aren’t keen on investing overseas.

South Africa offers a model to solve the long running issue. A single multi ethnic, multi religious secular state with everyone accorded equal citizenship including one Vote, one person.

Esperanto was a great idea but sadly like most great ideas didn’t gain traction. Still, a million speakers isn’t a bad legacy.
