Husband. Father. Adopted Geordie. Mostly here to talk about Arsenal, Leicester Tigers and Irish rugby.
But we did score from a corner against Bayern so Set Piece FC is still well and truly alive IMO

Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I hope so. He's a decent player. I know sport is ruthless but it would be kinda sad for him to go from being club captain at Brentford to not playing at all at arsenal. Zubi and Rice are clearly better but he's good enough to play a role this season imo.

He previously stated he was going to do 2 years at arsenal before returning to Brondby but surely he'll be looking to leave sooner if he doesn't start getting some minutes. Zubi and Rice can't play every week...

Genuinely wonder why we bought Norgaard. If we won't play him against Brentford in midweek, when is he actually going to start...?
December 3, 2025 at 10:08 PM
Well that is something... It's annoying when fans spout absolute nonsense online but someone who is paid to write about football really should do a bit of research... 🙄

Yeah navy blue as an alternative to dark green wasn't the best alternative kit choice ever made! 😂

Ireland are likely to face Argentina in the quarter finals so I guess they won't be beating their world cup hoodoo anytime soon...
December 3, 2025 at 9:52 AM
Did Tigers literally just put their shirts on inside out during this game? Did no one think green and green would clash before the game... 😂
December 2, 2025 at 10:40 AM
Tbf they have to say stuff like that. It's their job to create a narrative around every result. Personally surprised they aren't saying Liverpool are back in it having won today....

He is German don't forget! 😂

Well I guess that's why we signed Hincapie...

It will never happen but it is why a streaming service just for football makes so much sense. Bundle it all together in one place. Instead we have such a fragmented and expensive experience...

Maybe but you can't keep switching tens every game. Doesn't help anyone. Farrell needs to pick his man and back him to deliver.
November 13, 2025 at 10:02 PM
Fair enough. Arguably we've seen a bit of that last year. Personally I just want a decision made over the 10. Need to give one of them a good run of games imo.
November 13, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Oh for sure knowing our luck!
November 9, 2025 at 7:28 PM
They also both have to go to Sunderland.... 😉
November 9, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Yeah that's a fair point. We also had to play a midfielder up front in two of them. Even then the standards are such that today's result is disappointing having got in the lead.
November 8, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Oh me too. He's also by default a cautious coach. Sometimes that is good but I do think there are times when he needs to push for another goal rather than try to shut up shop. As good as they were Sunderland struggled when we actually had the ball in their half for most of the 2nd half...
November 8, 2025 at 8:00 PM
I'm inclined to agree. Did feel like it was coming when Arteta brought on Mosquera tbh. We just invited pressure on ourselves. Even then we could have won it save for some brilliant blocks from Sunderland.
November 8, 2025 at 7:57 PM
Yeah quite possibly. Arteta certainly knows better than us but did feel like we should have made more subs. Fingers crossed for a draw tomorrow...
November 8, 2025 at 7:51 PM
We'd have lost by a couple last year. Disappointed to drop points especially due to poor defending given how good we've been this season. Sunderland are no mugs. Hopefully it's a draw tomorrow! 🤞🏻
November 8, 2025 at 7:50 PM
It's not the specific players more the mindset. We also needed some fresh legs up top/midfield to offer some attacking threat. On another day I think we'd have won but disappointed to drop points at the death
