The personal computer desk right now. Home office desk is as bad. A combo of stuff I put here so it would be right in front of me and not forgotten and stuff the family uas randomly placed here in hopes that I would both infer what they wanted and be able to do so.

Just discovered latinquarterrva.com in Midlo. My wife had some really good ropa vieja and I had this awesome sandwhich with cuban style pork, eggs, jalapenos, and pepper jelly using fried plantains as bread.

I smoked some chicken wing today with a blend of mesquite and pecan (not planned, just what I happened to have on hand). I also made a big ass batch of salsa with home grown Red Savina, Tabasco, and never before tasted (by me) Apocalypse Scorpion peppers.

While I applaud Cracker Barrel's attempt at modernization, I kind of wish they had just gone all in amd owned it.

I did it. I made the malõr-tai. '44 mai tai spec with homemade orgeat amd 2oz of malõrt. Needs some minor tweaks, but I have had way worse mai tais.

Why do people hate this? I love it. A malör-tai is definitely on tgis weekend's menu. Maybe 2 ways. Once as the main liquor, one replacing the orange curaçao.

Not my first super hot peppers, buy first from seed, and I have never seen wild ass leaves like this.
Left is apocalypse scorpion, right is west indies habanero (an extra hot habanero). I also have naga brain with similar leaves. I am 6'2", if that helps with hand size comparison.
