Quand la protection sociale nourrit l’extrême droite : l’alerte de l’ONU
Dans son dernier rapport à l'Assemblée générale des Nations Unies, le Rapporteur spécial sur les droits humains et l'extrême pauvreté, Olivier De Schutter, lance un avertissement sans précédent : la transformation punitive de la protection sociale alimente directement la montée du populisme autoritaire. Entre surveillance algorithmique, conditionnalité des aides et stigmatisation des bénéficiaires, l'État-providence dystopique crée le terreau fertile sur lequel prospère l'extrême droite. Une analyse qui bouleverse notre compréhension des menaces pesant sur la démocratie. Un État-providence devenu punitif Le rapport documente l'émergence d'un monde dystopique où l'aide sociale s'est métamorphosée en instrument de surveillance et de contrôle.
