Jalen Brunson (right ankle sprain) is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Mavericks, the team that drafted him.

Brunson has only missed the last two games after suffering a grade-1 ankle sprain against Orlando last week.

On one hand, the Knicks’ defense is doing what it’s designed to: stopping teams from getting in the paint. On the other, opposing teams are taking and making a lot of 3s against New York.

Brown on Robinson's minutes: "It's increased. It's gone up three times. It's all part of the load management thing. It's not necessary a restriction.

"He could play 27 minutes."

Mike Brown: "I thought, for the most part, both teams played really hard. We didn't touch the paint and spray it as much ... but it allowed us to get to the rim at times and finish offensively. ... There was a stretch there in the fourth where we really didn't execute."

KAT's shot at the buzzer to tie it somehow doesn't go in and bounces out after touching every part of the rim.

Knicks (without Brunson and OG) fall, 115-113, to Miami (without Bam and Herro) and drop to 8-5 on the season.

Heat win the challenge. Knicks down two. Jump ball at halfcourt.
Goaltending call on Ware. Knicks tie the game at 115.

Heat have the ball with 13.2 seconds left.

I believe Spo is challenging the goaltending call.

Davion Mitchell misses one of two free throws. Knicks' deficit is down to two with 21.4 seconds left. Their ball.

(not sure why Spo had Mitchell, a 58 percent free-throw shooter, in the game after a timeout)

This game is drunk.

Josh Hart offensive rebound leads to a KAT 3.

Heat up by one with 22.4 seconds left and the ball.
November 18, 2025 at 2:51 AM
Knicks' offense has fallen flat the last few trips and the Heat are up 105-99 with 4:40 left.

Miami is shooting 33/79 (41.7 percent from 3) against New York between Friday's game and today's.

END OF 3Q: Heat 83, Knicks 82. Poor 3-point defense closed what was otherwise a good quarter for New York, which led by five.

They left Dru Smith twice, Fontecchio and Jacquez. You can understand playing off Smith and Jacquez but they were wide-open looks.

Knicks defense is really turning it up here in the middle of the third.

Bridges, who has 23 points, with a steal and dunk. Good on-ball defense leading to it.

Knicks up 5.
November 18, 2025 at 2:11 AM
KAT and Mitch have 22 rebounds. The Heat have 25.
November 18, 2025 at 2:01 AM
Halftime: Heat 55, Knicks 51. Too many turnovers by the Knicks and they’re losing the 3-point battle by 12 points.
November 18, 2025 at 1:40 AM
After insane performances the other night, Powell and KAT have a combined four points with 4:48 left in the first half.
November 18, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Knicks' offense has been much better in the second quarter. Generating good looks all around, especially at the basket.

But they've got to slow down Fontecchio. He's got three 3s off the bench, the latest an open look in transition.

Shamet's 3 a few possessions ago has been changed to a 2-pointer.

Knicks up 3 with Bridges at the line.
November 18, 2025 at 1:15 AM
END OF 1Q: Heat 25, Knicks 20

McBride and Bridges with 17 of the team's 20 points.
November 18, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Other than getting beat on the glass, New York's defense has been solid so far. It's helped the Knicks reclaim the lead.

Offense needs someone other than just Deuce to get things moving, though.
November 18, 2025 at 12:58 AM
Deuce McBride has 8 of the Knicks' 13 points
November 18, 2025 at 12:55 AM
After a solid start, the Heat are dominating the Knicks on the glass and out to a 13-10 lead. Brown calls a timeout after a Ware offensive rebound and layup.

Four offensive rebounds for Miami.
