Let’s take a look at the whole “there are too many black people on TV” thing, shall we?
After Pochin claimed Black people in TV adverts “made her mad”, all her supporters tried to use 👇🏼 as their excuse for why she was somehow justified in her overt racism.
Spoiler - she isn’t! 🤨

Managed to accidentally time starting that Discworld subscription in a way that meant yesterday afternoon I had Wyrd Sisters delivered, pretty serendipitous if you ask me. Back in the day the witch books weren't my favourites, I like the characters but I didn't care much for the stories.

Sunderland's continued success can only mean one thing, I am deep in a coma and I am living a dreamed reality. If this message somehow pierces the veil and reaches the people out there in the real world my wishes are simple, do **not** wake me up. Thank you.

Apparently my ISP has had a failure effecting almost(?) everyone, so I'm just sat here like a lemon hoping it comes back soon :/

The whole timeline right now is "BAKER MAYFIELD" and to be very clear, it's unbelievably justified. Phenomenal!

Just finished the fifth Discworld installation, Sourcery, as part of the Unseen University collection subscription I started a few months back. Genuinely no notes, I loved re-reading the first few, Mort was as good as I remembered, but Sourcery mostly evaded my memory and it's the best yet.

One of my greatest achievements in life was calling Ian Watkins (RIP in piss bozo) a cunt to his face in Cardiff H&M in 2008. Way ahead of the curve, apparently, which is unlike me, but even before the horrendous revelations I was adamant he was a grade A prick.

I genuinely cannot understand dropping the ball even *close* to the plane of the endzone, like, just hold onto it until you're both feet in at least surely? How does it keep happening? If that touchdown gets chalked off that's genuinely astonishing. Inexcusable is an understatement.

I know it's like, common knowledge, but if you need evidence that AI likely won't turn into anything useful (not saying it won't be forced down our throats regardless), look at Alexa. A "smart" home assistant that's as dumb as a bag of rocks, it's *barely* capable of the simplest tasks.

Pretty proud of myself, only took 17 runs (and 9.5 hours!) and a few of those were truly cursed in terms of options given to me, sub 10-hours on third time of meeting I escaped Tartarus. Hades 2 is Hades but morerer and that's definitely a compliment, really enjoying it.

There are several languages *in the UK* the the English refuse to learn when moving to the places they originate from. If it wasn't so blatantly racist a declaration it would be quite funny, in a quirky ironic fashion. Instead it's just another depressing brick in a wall made of them atm.

The worst thing is, this was me trying to be even-handed and not indict them unreasonably.

Asda's website is broken *yet again*. Think I'm fucking done, it's been months of constant hassle and I can't be arsed, will give Tescos a go for a while. just need to remember to book a slot two days in advance 'cause they never have next day available.

Griffin’s definition of fascism as palingenetic ultranationalism—specifically a reactionary nostalgia for a lost history of the nation that never existed—remains undefeated. A nostalgia for a type of bread that is ubiquitous, created in the 20th century, and rage towards bread as old as civilisation

Water bill just casually jumping 50% again, after almost doubling in February. Constantly getting fucking needled despite frequently having to be insanely careful with money towards the end of the month, fucking miserable shit. At some point this actually has to stop, right?

Ordered some coffee from Clumsy Goat, had pretty high hopes but it's turned up roasted to within an inch of it's life, smells and tastes like cigarette smoke. What a bummer. Can't afford to replace them until Friday either, and I doubt I'm getting that money back, bit frustrating really, harumph.

Just finished the Dispossessed by Ursula K Le Guin, I enjoyed it as I read it, but the ending really elicited a strong reaction from me, I was overwhelmed, I feel like I need a good chunk of time to just ruminate on it before I can really form an opinion. I loved it, for sure, though.

A friend sent me a tiktok of a "cuck sauna" and I can't stop laughing at the thought of a fella ploughing away and every 25 seconds hearing the squeaking sound of someone clearing the steam from the glass wall to peer through at him, nose flat against the glass to better see his missus getting laid.

Been in a holding pattern for 4 hours 'cause Amazon said they would be delivering something between 7-9pm, we're now rapidly approaching 10pm and it's "Still being delivered today". I sincerely doubt it, but also, isn't 10pm on a weekday an insane time to deliver something?

Finally received an email confirming that the listed part was as shown for an oven element on Monday, arrived today and it seems to be working as it should. The last two weeks have felt like an eternity, bizarrely depressing for reasons that don't warrant explaining, but it's over now.
