I grew up watching movies from the silent era to the 30’s and 40’s. Likewise, there was a local station that aired shows from the 50’s and 60’s. My brother and I tend to prefer movies and tv from those times. Which translates to that most of what we own, physically, isn’t on any streaming platform.

I remember what Ventura said after he came back to the WWF, that he told Vince he won’t bring up union talk, anymore. When asked why, he said “If these guys are too short-sided to see the benefits, I’m not going to waste my time. I have a union, now, via SAG.”

When I was trying to get to the train I needed to transfer to in order to get to work, someone had their luggage blocking the other side of escalator step they were on and refused to move for the people they were holding up. A guy in front of me punted the luggage and we all rushed down that side.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen those episodes. May need to look into picking them up.
Neil Ross, who played Springer, said he thought “I’ve got better things to do tonight than die” was just a throwaway line; but he was moved when he’d meet fans who told them how that line helped them.

Kup had some depth in that while he might seem like a “back in my day” sort, he was mainly trying to get Hot Rod to take things seriously & to learn to not be impulsive, especially with the stakes. Kup - having been through a lot - also wasn’t gung-ho for the fighting. Had to be done, but no thrill.
