Like yes blah blah I should be grateful I’m a decent writer and am not tempted but still it’s driving me balls. Why should I bother to write something you won’t read and why should I bother to read something you didn’t write?

Like that’s really where we want to be? Robots writing it on both ends and the whole process being even more meaningless than ever? Gahhhhh I can’t launch into the rant I really want to at these people without being the resident crank. But dear lord I am struggling.

My team leader said “yeah but you’re a good writer, I’m not”. But like…you know how you become a better writer? It’s certainly not offloading the skill to a machine.
Plus don’t get me started on the whole concept of “write your eval with AI and the boss adds their comments with AI”…

Lol I don’t really like it in any context, but my midwestern memories (lived in Ohio as a kid but family was Wisconsinian)were attaching the huge metal grinder to the sink and grinding up cranberries and oranges into a relish. I was mystified to realize people did this can.

We have a crew of 17 that loves to saunter through our yard all the time. Once 14 of them were wee babies but now they’re all grown up.

No idea how they look yet. I’m really hoping the choices he made are in tune with my aesthetic and how I would have done them. It’s hard to explain how personal a choice of foot is to a potter. He’s *better* by far, but he is not me.

Welp, still testing positive today. He did go ahead and trim them all and set them up to dry. I’m theory I should have time to Terra sig them once I test clear.
I’m really sad that my pots are now not fully mine, but I do feel less stressed about the deadlines.
