Learn how your bicycle can average 25% easier power—unassisted. Really.
It's not rocket science.

Your bent leg is less strong than your straight leg. About 40% less.

Use a lower ratio through the top half stroke, and a higher ratio through the bottom half stroke.

Use your biomechanical power curve to your advantage.

That is what Crownring does.

Why do pointy bumps on a chainring result in so much more power?

When you sit in a too low chair it is difficult to get up…until you rise halfway.

Crownring exploits that same halfway principle.

Check out my Q&A.

The Blue sisters are 21 speed, and a range matching CVT. The Crowned Continually Variable (CCV) has a 46T/42-55(2) Crownring. It mimics a 55T but with the ease of a 42T.

The black sisters are the most understandable, as you can count teeth. The control bike is 48T/16. The Crownring bike is more complicated. One ring is 40T/34-49(2). And 48T/44-57(2). Also 16T rear. The (2) is the crown size

EG-The 40T(2) draws 40 teeth, can have the ease of 34T and the speed of 49T

Don't you feel our new reality is more like this?

I was just thinking, these guys that pay no taxes year after year and still want billions in tax relief…

…are the ones saying the government is wasting their taxes, and that the rest of us should pay more.

Is that accurate?

17 year old "Ohzie" doesn't stray far from the portable heater in this weather.

Domestic tip:

Tired of pulling the stove out to clean those hard to reach counter sides?

They call it repair tape. Everyone makes it now. Invisible, durable, removable.

I change the tape every month or two. If you don't set hot stuff on it it lasts a good while.

No more drips into tight places.

It's just a shed. Built for bicycles and overflow projects. But…

The big shed has bikes in it. Once moved I'll put the mowers and junk in the big shed

The door/curtains face a wooded wetlands. No one there to see them. Ugly but completely open makes better access

Looks good from the street. 😄

I wouldn't know. It doesn't seem to be smart enough to email me a sign-in code.
