Roy’s rhetoric uses a core tenet of authoritarian politics: replacement of democratic pluralism with religious absolutism. By saying opponents promoted Marxists and Islamists and declaring “there is a King,” he’s pushing a vision where faith is weaponized against citizenship--Christian nationalism.

We’ve been in a constitutional crisis ever since Emil Bove <who was following orders by Prez. Grifter> told the DOJ immigration attorneys to tell the judges “Fuck You” and make sure the planes were on their way to El Salvador. Nice headline CNN but we are long past entering a constitutional crisis.

I left the traditional field of law bc of this. You cannot fix a broken system if you are a cog in the broken system. It is impossible, and you end up playing politics at best, or losing yourself at worst (if the two can even be bifurcated).
