I am so grateful for our veterans and for their courageous defense of our country and constitution.

Yesterday I delivered a webinar to an Australian audience.

In the Q&A I was asked if we were experiencing institutional betrayal due to the behavior of the US government.

I said yes its brutal but there is also so much joy, hope, & camaraderie in the resistance:

Trump is so very deviant. New gallop poll finds most U.S. adults "agree on a variety of issues that reflect core aspects of U.S. democracy. These include that using violence to achieve political goals is never OK . . . "

Patriotic lawmakers and veterans stating the law ("You must refuse illegal orders.") results in POTUS saying it is "punishable by DEATH!” ??

What????

We can support our troops and we can - we must - refuse to be complicit.

"Trump’s legal endeavors are buckling under scrutiny, and he may receive a wave of court losses in the coming weeks. That would undermine his bid to wield the government against his enemies and use the military as a police force."

Our care & courage fuels legal resistance.

Rejoice & keep at it.

It's just extraordinary: so much hopeful news. And this happened because survivors, activists, judges, & voters did not give up. People stood up to tyranny. People chose courage. Yes we still have much hard work to do but also much strength. I am so very grateful to you all for your courage.

I have also asked others not to trivialize with "Epstein scandal" and the like. Some might consider this persnickety.

Trump's response to the Epstein emails?

It’s DARVO: Deny, attack and reverse victim and offender.

This is the strategy Trump and his team have been using for years to distort reality.

He was using DARVO in 2017 in response to sexual harassment accusations:

1 of 3:

We can resist flood-the-zone strategy & keep our focus by
1. Helping protect the midterm process and electing new reps who will stand up to tyrants
2. Participating in pro-democracy movement. No Kings!

Lots to be hopeful about on all these fronts. E.g.:

Autocrats flood the zone so we will lose hope and give away our power to resist.

We must celebrate the wins! Especially now.
