We have fully updated our Top 100, and this time we were doing so knowing that before long our current No. 1 (Roman Anthony) will graduate. So we spent a lot of time reporting, analyzing and discussing who should be the heir apparent to be No. 1.

I answered multiple chat questions in my recent Reds chat that were explaining why the Reds should move ELDC off SS. There seem to be a subset of Reds fans who focus on getting annoyed with the team's best players. (See Joey Votto for another example)

Almost every time an MLB trade happens, I can see the logic for both sides.

In this O's-Angels trade, I can't find the logical underpinning unless Baltimore is really worried about Rodriguez's recovery from elbow issues.

Solid story here but in every aspect this is spelling out how the Rockies have started using tech or are hoping to add tech that is commonplace for other MLB orgs.

And as the story somewhat notes the Rockies have been very lacking in staffing to use these tools.

We rolled out the Reds Top 10 Prospects list today, led by Sal Stewart.

Cincinnati has a very enviable pitching depth with a full rotation of current big leaguers, plus Lowder and others on the way.

Hitters? They need help. Good news for Cincy that the Top 10 is hitter heavy.
