I woke from my colonoscopy with this bandage on my hand. I guess a bunch of people must have paraded through the procedure room to shake my hand while I was out! 😉
But the news was all good otherwise. No sign of issues 6 years out from my surgery for colon carcinoma.

Cleaning up the day after Wolf's departure> steroid and cough pills he had been on for over a year due to early stage COPD. Vet recommended joint and bone supplement. Also an immune system additive due to intestinal parasites that should have been self correcting. Wolf fought long and well
It has been a tough day here. After 14 and a half years together, we had to send Wolf on his way over the Rainbow Bridge to meet his old pal Zeke, who crossed 3 years ago. Here is Wolf in his prime, which is how he'd want to be recalled. Thanks for being with us, Wolf.

After an 11-day foreign trip with only a tablet (iPad) and a phone (Pixel/Android) for internet access, I find myself wondering if I really need a PC at this point in my life. Maybe I will hedge my bets by getting a new (Windows) laptop for writing, but get rid of the 3 traditional PCs I now have??

Going on 11pm Feb 26 here near Dayton, Ohio and we have been having a thunderstorm for the 45-60 minutes. Nothing too terrible, just periodic gentle rolling thunder and steady rain for most of the time. But at ~11pm on Feb 26 at 40 North Latitude??

No need not to play it like the 7th game of the Stanley Cup finals tonight. Unless there is a concern about injury, let guys skate their legs off so long as they are playing better than the guys they are taking minutes from would be skating.

Someone I know successfully completed the process of getting the Google Play store to function on their Amazon Fire tablet. They said after seeing it in action that for the money, maybe it was as good or better than their iPad since what they do mostly on a tablet is stream video and check news.

It is still colder than cold here. Our various networked devices are reporting 7F at noon. That's presumably at the WPAFB weather station about 5 miles west.
Thinking back to the cold winters of the 1970s-80s, I will say having broadband certainly reduces the cabin fever aspect of brutal cold.

After a couple of weeks of fighting the flu type A (confirmed by a swab test), I am finally starting to feel more or less normal. For the record, I had received the flu, RSV, latest COVID and Prevnar 20 shots but still had troublesome bronchial congestion. Steroids and time seem to have cleared it.

I am wondering how many of these OSU run calls are Kelly and how many are Day over rides. Made no sense to try and go wide on 2nd 4 inside the 15th.

Ordered an iPad 10th generation Sunday evening when Costco dropped them to $250. It came today; but, I am holding to my promise I will not start to "play" with it until after all the Thanksgiving day visitors have departed and maybe even until Friday AM

Buddy is finishing out his 10th month with us as our 3rd dog.
For his 1st month or so he was crated in a wire cage overnight and when we were away. Today as Thanksgiving prep, we finally got around to collapsing and storing the unused cage. Buddy was not sure what to make of the goings on. 🫠
