Palate: Sweet and spicy. A rush of brown sugar & honey graham cracker, chased by wood and baking spice. Candy apple, dried apricot, sweet cinnamon and wood spice, with modest drying tannin. Almost toasted barrel-like. More solid heat than on the nose, smoldering in the chest. #whiskey #bourbon

Palate: Intense spice, fruit, and sweet. Very dark bramble fruit compote, maple, ashy char, with some bitterness. Pronounced wood spice, cinnamon, molasses, clove. Verging on strong tannins, drying each sip with lingering dried fruit, like an oaky PX sherry. Steadily building heat, not overwhelming.
