Flipping this around, a large but mediocre university in the midwest has given all students the ability to "AI-ify" any degree with an "AI + whatever" degree

The myth of infinite growth.
I recognized this when i was like ... a teenager... what they were teaching us didn't make sense over time in the way that the story of "what happens to our trash" ended with it dumped into a landfill, and I'm thinking "so does that mound just get higher forever?"
