How can I describe the difference of a @shejiyeah.bsky.social commission? Care does not begin to do it justice: deft delicate hands, fierce protectiveness for the subject, as if tried affections rides alongside you for every mile marker. It’s so sinful, it’s almost angelic. I love it so!

One of my favorite things about commissioning artists is, sometimes, you talk about the secret to crispy roast potatoes alongside the best visual homage to canon character details. And I think that mix of worlds, blur of the personal and professional, and serious play of art is lovely as hell.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
