Dealing with climate change by deploying solar, storage, and other technologies during the day, and as a first responder at night. he/him
Even within the nightmare of Tuna+Jello there is some room to make the recipe your own:

Did they not see the food we were creating back in the 60s? We needed an infusion of better ideas.

The bad guys of my midlife are a bad combination of Nazis, Cobra, and Slytherin. And not the "Saving Private Ryan" Nazis - some how we got the Hogan's Hero Nazis, and despite their utter incompetence, they're managing to ruin (and end) so many lives.

Ah, Joe Biden, leading an admin with an economy that was the envy of the world and investing billions in infrastructure and spending time NOT destroying the institutions that make private investment predictable and profitable. From October 2024:

Saturday was the 21st anniversary of William Miller's death in Iraq. He was my rackmate all through bootcamp, and 100% reminds me of Cope from Boots (except for being gay). We were young.

I'm a little bummed out with the timing of the Epstein e-mail dump. I wish it had happened earlier, because there are some consequences going on, but also, if it had been a month earlier, we could have gotten some great couples costumes.

Yesterday, between 9:30 AM and 5 PM, solar provided more than 50% of the energy in ERCOT. It's a low load, sunny, cool day, but we're getting there.

This is a draft chart, for ~2004 - ~2018 showing polluter reported emission events of Benzene (red), Toluene (blue), and Xylene (green). Contrasting events in Houston or Beaumont with Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, some communities exist in a soup of carcinogens.

Load is low because it's too cold for AC, but >80% of load in ERCOT getting met with zero-carbon energy, nuke+solar+wind

Modern (okay, 20 year old) body armor had a "cock flap," but later versions of the expanded kit do seem to have a substantial blindspot when it comes to "covering your six."

This is the same Bill Ackman that got all bent out of shape when Business Insider reported that his wife's PhD thesis had plagiarized other authors and lifted passages from wikipedia? We probably need to start looking at whether Neri Oxman is involved in the type of corruption Ackman raising here.

I like federal projects like this that will likely continue to need large parking based on who they serve (veterans from across a very large catchment area) and much less speculation:

I don't know much about him, but this George Washington guy sounds almost a woke as that Jesus guy the left is always saying Christians should be more like.

Christian Nationalism sure sounds like it's NOT what THIS founder wanted.

Cuomo: And remember, I never sexually harassed a Black woman that worked for me.
(I didn't actually fact check this, but spending that time researching MORE THAN A DOZEN victims felt ghoulish and like a lot of work)

I feel like he's trying to say (while quoting Trembath) that it's bad that climate hawkishness got tied to standing up for marginalized communities. Speaking out on climate issues is standing up for marginalized communities - people living in refinery shadows, floodzones, the future, etc.
