What we're seeing in real time is the deployment of a Secret Police tasked with terrorizing those who live in communities insufficiently subservient to the regime. It's a form of spectacle violence designed undermine the rule of law & any semblance of accountability.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

Sad to hear about the passing of Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead yesterday. He was part of a storied musical legacy influencing countless jam bands. His music and the Dead was the soundtrack to many a summer night. I will spin Playing in the Band tonight in his honor.

FIVE YEARS & he has not been held accountable for one of the most disgraceful events in this nation's history.
Trying to overturn a fair election in an attempted coup against his own government is the very definition of TREASON. We can never move forward until this is fully adjudicated. #ShameOnUS🇺🇸

This snippet perfectly illustrates why we need to completely reform the Supreme Court

Because it was a SCOTUS packed with MAGA judges-chosen by Trump himself-that shamefully deprived America of its rightful justice by granting him immunity and destroying any chance Jack Smith had to prosecute him
Jack Smith: I believe we had proof beyond a reasonable doubt in both cases.

The last five decades have been marked by an explosion in wealth inequality and a growing distrust of America’s institutions.

Many Americans believe that the system as a whole is rigged against them.

They're right.

So is Grenell just going to cry on social media every day because artists want nothing to do with his twisted MAGA perversion of the Kennedy Center? This seems like a great opportunity to showcase MAGA creative and artistic talent. I’m sure they will draw big patriotic crowds.

We need a Shadow Kennedy Center to step up. A performance space where these artists can perform, connect with their audiences and make up for some lost ticket sales. Their show of courage should be rewarded and celebrated. Publicly and loudly.

Donald Trump targets his political enemies in order to keep power. In 2026, that won't just mean going after people like James Comey and Tish James. It will require him to target voters who he needs to disenfranchise to keep control of Congress. The fight for democracy is more urgent than ever.

Until Trump began conspiracies about mail voting, Republicans were fully on board with GRACE PERIODS for ballots to arrive as long as postmarked by Election Day. They passed it overwhelmingly in KS, OH, & elsewhere.

But now Trump hates it.

So 4 red states—KS, OH, ND, UT—all banned it this year.

Ohio is the fourth GOP-run state this year to ban ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive after. A Supreme Court case could force that policy nationwide next year.

I’ve never stopped buying CDs. If musicians are going to thrive, they need our support by purchasing physical media and merchandise along with attending shows which not only helps the artists, but the venue owners as well. If there’s not a healthy artistic ecosystem, the whole industry goes away.
Since the 2010s, streaming has dominated media consumption, and with that, sales of DVDs and CDs have sunk. However, there’s been a revival in demand for discs.

The trend is driven by Gen Z looking for the novelty of “vintage” media.
DVDs and CDs are becoming cool again, thanks mostly to Gen Z
Consumers of all ages are looking to discs to get offline and away from algorithms, and for a younger generation, it’s seen as “vintage.”
