It feels like so much of the conversation around Arsenal is coloured by a weird folk memory of the 0-0 at the Etihad. It’s now got to the stage where they can outshoot the champions at Anfield but be decried for their caution because of a Szobszlai screamer.

I think the most important takeaway here is that Liverpool look flawless and don’t need to add anything else in this window

Does anyone factor in that maybe losing a World Class CB 5 minutes in and replacing him with a 20 year old might have, I don’t know, altered the approach just a little?

Not having Saliba was such a gut punch. Killed our ability to play out of the back and forced us to be much more cautious in attack to cover for Mosquera
