I also think the fact that she got married just two years after getting out of prison says... something, though she married a famous ex-skinhead so maybe they have a lot in common in terms of leaving toxic movements.

I bid on a lamp almost exactly like that one one in an estate sale auction that ended literally yesterday evening, but got outbid. (I had gone over my usual max bid of $15 to a whole $25, but was still outbid.)

I saw it on my way in and GASPED, but I figured my first duty was to the cat, so I went past it and told myself that if it wasn't still there when I came out, it wasn't meant to be. But it WAS there.

But LOOK at this lamp! I have been wanting a floor lamp with a built-in table for AGES and every time I see one up for sale it's more than I want to spend.

He was fine and had no disabilities. But when he first learned to sit up, he did tip over a lot. When Friend was pregnant with her 2nd, the OBGYN said she was going to be 11lbs. Friend was alarmed. But then the OBGYN said, "We go by head size," & Friend went, "Oh, that's fine, then."

When a friend had her first child, he was in the 90th percentile for head size, which is sometimes an indicator of certain disabilities. So their pediatrician told her this & that they had to screen for some things, but added, "But I wouldn't worry. You & your husband are both large-headed people."

Many of the gifs on bluesky come with AI alt text already added but they're always a super bare bones literal description of what is there, without context. So if you post a Die Hard gif the AI alt text is like, "A man saying Yippie ki yay." It doesn't recognize the source.
