Meanwhile, Predator spent more or less the same amount of time abiding by a formula, switching things up (to apparently great success) with Badlands. Curious to see where both series go from here and how the inevitable AvP story will manifest. www.ign.com/articles/pre...

It’s interesting to see how Alien and Predator have had to evolve in different directions given they’re de facto sibling series. Alien spent 20+ years taking wild swings with little to show for it only to (mostly) regain footing with Romulus, which plays the hits.

HBO Max remains the devil’s combo of the best content on the worst, most unstable app though. Doesn’t matter what device or connection I’m watching something on, stream quality is all over the place and I usually have to restart it to fix it.

I did manage to get my first helicopter takedown with a lucky RPG shot yesterday though, so that was pretty great.

I saw it theatrically twice but I don't think it was in IMAX. Once @ Alamo and then one at at Cinemark near us. Dunno if they didn't have the aspect ratio changes or I was just so wrapped up in the movie I couldn't tell until the blu-ray.

I think a good gauge for it is if you like TP: The Return. A lot of Inland Empire feels like a dry run for that.
