A couple of images of a hillside in a very rural part of Alameda County...the falling shadows caught my eye, as did the new green grass from recent rains. In some areas it first shows up in the shade of trees...

Drove a couple of roads I hadn't been on for a couple of decades today. Rural roads that now have speed humps and rumble strips to slow one down...all while no shoulder and maybe a stripe down the middle. They're now a freeway alternative in the commute hours, and I don't wish that commute on anyone
